ShopsCraft ("we", "us", "our") is a free e-commerce platform that helps merchants in Algeria and beyond create and manage their online stores. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information when you use our platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, phone number, store name, and password when you register. We also automatically collect usage data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken in the panel, solely to improve the service. We do not collect payment card information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to: create and manage your account; operate and improve the ShopsCraft platform; send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, order notifications); respond to support requests; and detect and prevent fraud or abuse. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (a secure HTTP-only JWT token). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use anonymized analytics (such as aggregated page-view counts) to understand platform usage, but no personally identifiable information is included in these metrics.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in operating our platform (for example, our cloud database host and email delivery service) under strict confidentiality agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and store data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it longer (e.g., financial records). Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

ShopsCraft is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
